There’s one last convention before the fall/holiday season kicks into gear and we have a lot of news from Gamescom.  Shenmue III gets a teaser to show us all that the game is still coming.  SNES Classic pre-orders went up for North America today and are completely sold out online.  Nintendo announces a new ARMS character and stage, and Splatoon 2 is getting a pair of new stages.  Microsoft delays Crackdown 3 into 2018 and continues the tragic story of the Xbox One legacy.

We have some breaking news hot off the presses as Valve announces their next game!  Unfortunately, it’s not Half-Life 3, but Artifacts, a DOTA 2 card game.  Nintendo is going to Gamescom and is bringing Mario, Metroid, and Xenoblade!  Meanwhile back in the States, Nintendo will be bringing back the Nintendo World Championships!  Atlus announces a few new Persona games for legacy platforms while Square-Enix reveals Dragon Quest Builders 2 for PS4 and Switch.

Post-SDCC news and the pickings are slim as everybody got their big news out of the way, but we managed to piece together some tidbits!  Captain Marvel won’t be in Infinity War, Iron Fist is apparently getting a lot of growth in Defenders, and John Cena himself is starring in the Bumblebee spin-off movie.  Also, will or won’t Ben Affleck continue wearing the Batman mantle?
