With the Gamecast, we pay our tribute to a great developer that unfortunately passed away that helped to create many great games that we all have played.  Love and respect to Corey Gaspur.  We also discuss Doomfist officially being released in Overwatch, Bioware Montreal being absorbed by Motive Studios, and Nintendo OFFICIALLY announces pre-orders for the SNES Classic will go live later this month.

Post-SDCC news and the pickings are slim as everybody got their big news out of the way, but we managed to piece together some tidbits!  Captain Marvel won’t be in Infinity War, Iron Fist is apparently getting a lot of growth in Defenders, and John Cena himself is starring in the Bumblebee spin-off movie.  Also, will or won’t Ben Affleck continue wearing the Batman mantle?

This is the week of 2’s!  Jim and Corey tackle the Destiny 2 beta while Tony and Corey paint the town in Splatoon 2!  Get our impressions on two of the freshest shooting games on the market!  In other news, Uncharted Lost Legacy will feature the largest open world area in the series.  Capcom announces that Chun Li will get a makeover in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite due to fan feedback since E3.  Nintendo files a trademark for the N64 controller and points to an N64 Mini potentially coming out next year, while its Switch app releases with a large number of issues.  Finally, we all rejoice as Telltale announces Wolf Among Us Season Two!

SDCC is upon us and the first gaming related news is that Telltale is announcing...something, but apparently not a second season of The Wolf Among Us.  Respawn Entertainment gets a lot of kudos for continuing to support Titanfall 2 with a brand new 4-player co-op mode!  EVO2K17 brought us some new fighting game announcements with Arc System Works announcing Blaz Blue Cross Tag Battle and Capcom revealing Jedah of Darkstalkers fame for Marvel vs Capcom Infinite.  D23 had us learn that Toy Story is a world in Kingdom Hearts 3 and events that take place in game are CANON to the actual Toy Story universe.  Lastly, Corey and Tony talk about the Splatoon 2 Splatfest, cake vs ice cream!

DLC Fists of Fury are flying this week!  A new ARMS character plus mode is coming out with a new patch while DOOMFIST hits the Overwatch PTR and he promises to shake up the meta!  Meanwhile, Switch is set to get their network app on July 21st to coincide with Splatoon 2.  Next, we learn Shadow of Mordor followers and foes can be brought into Shadow of War.  Is Platinum teasing potential Bayonetta and Wonderful 101 coming to Switch?  We go over recent gaming charity events like Summer Games Done Quick and GuardianCon, and lastly we play Delay or No Delay for the rest of 2017.
