The heat was turning up for a second weekend in a row thanks to EVO 2023 where competitors all across the world came to duke it out over popular fighting games. Capcom shows off a Street Fighter x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration, Microsoft cuts down the intro 1 dollar Game Pass to 14 days instead of one month, and Nintendo reports on record breaking profits and gives new Switch hardware and software numbers. Baldur's Gate 3 breaks records and becomes one of the top performing games on Steam and reached the cultural zeitgeist. Lastly, is the lack of a Starfield demo at Gamescom a worrying sign?
