Square Enix is opening up their Final Fantasy relationship after a long monogamous one with Sony. Nintendo Switch achieves 141 million units sold worldwide just in time for hardware leaks of the Switch 2. Sony's PS5 is trucking alongside the sales pace of the PS4. Nintendo casually acknowledges the Switch 2 existence, but we will have to wait for its official announcement until 2025. Over the weekend Sony caused quite the controversy with their hit Helldivers 2. Meanwhile, Microsoft firmed up their position as one of the worst video game companies in existance by closing a ton of studios and laying off lots of employees.
