God of War Laufey is confirmed to be releasing in February of 2027 while Sony Santa Monica also confirms that a Kratos-led God of War game will be coming afterwards. Sony apparently isn't satisfied enough to take away physical discs but they might be taking away physical controller buttons according to a new Playstation controller patent. Double Fine announces they have to lay off 25% of their staff after divesting from Xbox.
