#SaveMassEffect, Not Bioware - AYCG Gamecast #819

The biggest news of the past week is that EA finally pulls the trigger on Bioware, shutting down the studio permanently while they were actively working on the next Mass Effect game. Fans have been protesting with paying for billboards outside of EA headquarters and starting a petition to save the franchise. Meanwhile, Ghost of Yotei developer Sucker Punch experienced layoffs, adding on to the bleak reality of the game industry. Capcom posts good numbers on their games launched this year and their back catalog, while Circana reports some good news for September.
